Biography

Born in Indonesia and moved to Southern California as a teenager, Griselda has always been influenced by art and animation. She fell in love with Disney as little girl watching Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Although, it is her dream to be part of the Disney family, she began her animation career at DreamWorks. She started as an intern for the Bee Movie while she was finishing Art Center College of Design in Pasadena where she graduated as a valedictorian. Then she joined DWA a year later in the art department as a visual development artist and character designer. She has worked many movies such as: How to Train your Dragon 2, Home, Penguins of Madagascar, Croods, Kung Fu Panda: Legend of the Masters, Rise of the Guardian, Neighbor from Hell, Puss in Boots, The Three Diablos, Donkey Christmas Shrektacular, and Shrek Forever After. She is also part of the development team in concept movies such as Doodle, Zodiac, Me and My Shadow, Time Crime, Imaginary Enemy, American Girl, and Best Witch Ever (all working title) In 2015, her dream of being a Disney artist came true. She joined Walt Disney Studio in Feature Animation as a character designer and a visual development artist. She worked on Moana and is currently working on a very exciting unannounced feature animation project.
